Administrative ERP — native PHP (2012), Symfony (2020)
ERP designed in 2012 in native PHP, modernized in 2020 with Symfony: authentication, Arabic RTL interface, still in production.
Context
In 2012 I designed and shipped an ERP in native PHP for administrative operations (accounts, workflows, operational data). In 2020 the same system was modernized to Symfony to structure the codebase, harden sessions and renew the UI, without stopping production.
Build
- Built the ERP in native PHP (2012): data model, administrative workflows, production rollout.
- 2020 modernization: Symfony, email authentication, CSRF token, password reset.
- Arabic RTL business UI (Bootstrap 5, icons), Webpack Encore assets, nginx reverse proxy.
- Still used daily behind a secured sign-in area.
Outcome
Application still live: Symfony (Security, CSRF, password reset), Webpack Encore, Bootstrap 5 RTL, nginx on Ubuntu. Arabic login (email / password), gated /admin area.
